Don't have horses and want to ride? Then just contact one of the local riding stables to enjoy a quick trail ride.

Attraction :  If you have a 4WD vehicle, you can easily and quickly drive down to Anza Borrego-Desert State Park or up on top of Santa Rosa Mountain for breath taking views and beautiful sunsets and possibly catch a glimpse of some big horn sheep. You can also drive over Thomas Mountain or up to Cahuilla Mountain. If you like to hike or mountain bike, with a short drive, you can hike the many trails in Idyllwild including Tahquitz Peak, or you can visit various trails in lovely Garner Valley which includes the Pacific Crest Trail. Or you can visit Pinyon Pines Canyon or hike Cahuilla Mountain. You can also rock climb at Tahquitz Peak if that is your hobby. Anza has many wonderful local restaurants. Enjoy steak and seafood or if Mexican food is more your thing, you have two in town to choose from. Many restaurants provide live music and entertainment on the weekends. Karaoke is available on Thursday nights at one local restaurant if you're inspiring to be the next American Idol. Or if you feel lucky, just do some gambling at the Cahuilla Casino. Upscale shopping in Temecula and Palm Desert.

Activities :  Go fishing for trout, bass, catfish at Lake Hemet or Lake Fulmor, just a short drive from the property. If you don't have a California fishing license, purchase a daily/weekly/annual license from the market at Lake Hemet. Fish from shore or rent a boat.
